Emmanuel International Malawi, in partnership with CAVWOC and with support from Global Affairs Canada and Emmanuel International Canada, has conducted a training for District and Community Referral Focal Persons in Phalombe District on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) documentation, referral, reporting, and the Digital Referral and Reporting System (DRRS).The training, attended by key stakeholders involved in GBV response, was honoured by the presence of Phalombe District Council Officer, Mr. Yobu Makina Gama, who emphasized the importance of proper coordination and documentation in supporting survivors of GBV.As part of the initiative, Emmanuel International Malawi also donated tablets and computers to stakeholders to enhance GBV data collection, reporting, and case tracking through the Digital Referral and Reporting System.The training and donation aim to strengthen coordination among service providers and improve the response to GBV cases in communities across Phalombe District.
