Emmanuel International Malawi, in collaboration with the Africycle and the Phalombe District Council, has distributed 75 bicycles to Gender Champions under the Titukule Azimai (Empower Women) Project to strengthen community support for women and girls.The bicycles were handed over on Wednesday, 4th March, during a ceremony attended by the District Commissioner (DC), as well as representatives from the District Social Welfare Office and District Gender Office. The event also received media coverage from the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).The bicycles will help Gender Champions reach more communities, especially remote areas, as they conduct awareness activities on gender equality and support women and girls facing different challenges.This initiative highlights the continued partnership between Emmanuel International Malawi and the Phalombe District Council in promoting the empowerment and protection of women and girls in the district through the Titukule Azimai Project.
